Rosette Easel Card – Ally’s Angels Challenge Blog DT Project
Hi crafty friends!
I’m back today with a new Design Team project for the Ally’s Angels Challenge Blog – where, as always, our theme is Anything Goes! I love the freedom of these open-themed challenges, and I’m excited to share something a little different and very fun: my new Rosette Easel Card!
This card is extra special to me because it's not only my DT creation for this month’s challenge—I’ve also designed it as an SVG cut file, which is now available in my Etsy shop! I’ll be sharing a video tutorial on my YouTube channel as well, so stay tuned if you'd like to see exactly how to assemble it.
About the Rosette Easel Card
This unique card design features a large 5-inch rosette front and opens into an easel fold, allowing it to stand up beautifully for display. The SVG file includes:
The card base
All mats and layers
The rosette cut
You can decorate it any way you like to suit the occasion or your style!
My DT Card – Sweet Donkey Birthday
For this featured card, I used some of my long-stashed (but still gorgeous!) Craft Consortium “Bluebells and Buttercups” paper pack. The soft blue and sunny yellow patterns were perfect for spring or summer birthdays.
To decorate the front, I added the sweetest little donkey image to the center of the rosette—he’s absolutely adorable and fit the color theme perfectly. Inside, I included roses and a heartfelt birthday sentiment, making this a warm and cheerful birthday greeting.
A Few Tips:
Because of the rosette and easel design, the finished card is quite dimensional—perfect for a “wow” moment when it’s opened. Just keep in mind that it’s best to hand-deliver or mail in a padded envelope for safe arrival.
This design works well for all seasons and themes! In fact, I’ll be showing three more Rosette Easel Cards I’ve made to give you more inspiration on how versatile this file is.
