🎉✈️ Birthday Flyby for the CHRISTMAS (or not) BINGO Challenge! ☁️🎂

Hello friends and crafty fans!

It’s time for a brand new challenge over at the CHRISTMAS (or not) BINGO Challenge Blog, and this one was especially fun to create for! If you haven't played along yet, we’re using a BINGO-style inspiration board—and for my Design Team card, I chose to work with Column O:

Slimline Card – Free – Stripe 🎯

Here’s how I interpreted the column:

  • Slimline Card: I love the spacious canvas of a slimline layout, perfect for scene-building!

  • Free: I went with multi-dimensional clouds that add depth and texture.

  • Stripe: You’ll find those on the airplane, which is the star of the show.

The card I made is a multidimensional birthday card with a fun, playful feel. I started by inking the background using distress inks in a sunset palette—a warm blend of pinks, oranges, and soft purples to create a dreamy sky. Over that, I layered soft, puffy die-cut clouds with foam tape to give them lift and motion.

Flying through the scene is a stamped airplane carrying a trailing banner that reads: “Birthday flyby”—how fun is that? The plane has striped accents for a pop of contrast, and it brings the whole scene together.

This card came together beautifully, and I love how it captures the spirit of celebration while ticking off all three elements from Column O. Don’t forget to check out the Bingo board below and see which row, column, or diagonal inspires you. Whether you're in the holiday spirit or going "not Christmas" like I did—there's a spot on the board for every kind of card!

🧵✂️ Now it's your turn! Come play along with us and show off your take on the BINGO board—we can't wait to see what you create.

Happy crafting and see you in the gallery!
