Pigs in Blankets… Christmas Style! 🐷🎄

Hello Crafty Friends!

It’s time for a brand-new challenge over at Ally's Angels as always, it's Antthing goes, but I decided to share a card centered around country charm. Whether it’s cows, chickens, sheep, or in my case — pigs in blankets — it’s the perfect opportunity to add a playful touch to your holiday cards.

I’ve had this adorable pig in a blanket image in my stash for quite some time, just waiting for the perfect moment… and this challenge gave me the nudge I needed! 🐖 I decided to create a Flip-Flap card, inspired by Sam Calcott’s fun interactive designs.

The front of my card features a barn door, which sets the cozy, country Christmas scene. But the real magic happens when you open the flap — inside are four absolutely adorable pigs in blankets, each one cuter than the last! It’s a bit unexpected, and I think that makes it even more delightful.

This card is a fun mix of non-traditional Christmas imagery with a touch of humor and warmth. It’s festive without being overly flashy — a design that’s sure to bring smiles to anyone, regardless of age or style.

I had so much fun putting this card together, and I love how it turned out. If you’ve got some farm animal images in your stash, this challenge is a great reason to dust them off and get creative.
