Let Your Sparkle Shine – Winged Pop-Up Diamond Card featuring Daisy Fairy

Hello Crafty Friends!

It’s time for another challenge over at Di’s Digital Challenge Blog, and this round is all about bringing on the SPARKLE! ✨ I couldn’t wait to dive into this one because who doesn’t love a little glitter and shine?

For my project, I decided to create a Winged Pop-Up Diamond Card, a fun and dynamic card fold inspired by Iced Images. I thought this layout would be the perfect stage to showcase one of Di’s most charming characters — the Daisy Fairy!

I colored up the Daisy Fairy digital stamp with my Ohuhu Alcohol Markers, using a cheerful palette of yellows and teals to really bring her to life. She just glows with happiness, and I wanted the rest of the card to reflect that same joyful energy.

For the card base, I used a combination of patterned papers in sunny yellow, bright teal, and a pop of coral to give the card a fresh, fairy-garden vibe. To meet the challenge theme and add a generous dose of sparkle, I matted all the patterned layers with gold glitter cardstock — it adds just the right amount of shine without overwhelming the design.

I absolutely loved how this card turned out! The Winged Pop-Up Diamond Card base is so fun to create and it gives your focal image a real spotlight moment. I can definitely see myself using this card style again for birthdays, holidays, or any card that needs a little wow factor.
