Anything But a Card – K-Cup Holder Gift Featuring Di’s Squeak Shake Mice
It’s time for a brand-new challenge over at Di’s Digital Designs Challenge Blog, and this round the theme is Anything but a Card. I always love when this theme comes around because it pushes me to think outside the box—literally this time!
For my project, I decided to create a festive K-Cup Holder, perfect for gifting to one of my co-workers this holiday season. I found a great base file in Cricut Design Space and then tweaked it a bit to better suit my needs. That’s what I love about SVGs—you can always adjust and personalize them for the project you’re envisioning.
I cut the holder from a fun, bright Christmas patterned paper, which instantly set the tone for a cheerful holiday gift. To decorate the front, I used Di’s absolutely adorable Squeak Shake Mice image. I printed it on kraft cardstock and colored it up using my Prismacolor pencils in classic Christmas reds and greens. These little mice look so sweet and festive—it was the perfect finishing touch!
To finish everything off, I added a cute bow, a tiny clay peppermint candy, and a sweet Christmas sentiment to tie it all together. I’m really pleased with how this project turned out. It’s charming, practical, and so much fun to make. I already know I’ll be creating several more of these for last-minute holiday gifting.
Thanks so much for stopping by today! I hope you’ll join in the fun for this challenge and share your own “anything but a card” creation. 🎄✨
