A Touch of Christmas Magic – Winged Pop-Up Diamond Card Featuring a Fairy

 Hello, festive friends!

Our newest challenge is live over at Di's Digital Challenge Blog, and it’s a magical one — the theme this time is “Happy Holidays”! 🧚‍♀️✨ I absolutely loved the idea of combining a whimsical fairy with a holiday twist, and this was the perfect excuse to try a new fun fold I’ve had on my crafty bucket list: the Winged Pop-Up Diamond Card, inspired by the talented Iced Images.

For the star of my card, I used an absolutely adorable fairy image from Di’s Digital Designs, which was a freebie from her Facebook group — how generous is that?! I colored her up in classic Christmas colors using my Ohuhu Alcohol Markers, making sure to keep the vibe merry and bright.

I picked some beautifully festive patterned papers from my Christmas stash to build the card base and matted them with gold foil cardstock for an elegant shimmer. The gold accents really make the card feel special and festive — just what a Christmas fairy deserves!

To finish off the design, I added the sentiment “Sending Peace” at the bottom of the card, which I thought paired perfectly with the gentle charm of the fairy. A few enamel stars sprinkled across the card added just the right amount of sparkle and whimsy.

I had so much fun making this card and I can’t wait to try the Winged Pop-Up Diamond Card fold again with a different theme. It’s easier than it looks and makes such a beautiful statement.
