Trifold Silhouette Nativity Card - MTTCC Challenge #86

Today I am delighted to share the card I made for MTTCC Challenge #86. This time the challenge was Silhouette Scenes.  I decided to use a template from Dreaming Tree SVG that I have been itching to try for a bit.  I used their template but used Stamps and Inked Backgrounds to make it my own.

This card is a Tri-fold design and opens up into a beautiful scene of the nativity.

I used Stamps from a Crafter's Companion Christmas Hymns Sentiment Stamp Set for most of the wording on the card. I stamped and embossed the wording in Rose Gold and used Shimmer paper for the gray and off-white overlays on the city silhouettes.

The two inside sentiments came from a Creative Stamping Issues a few Christmases ago. All the wording was stamped and embossed in Rose Gold embossing powder.

For the sky background I used Distress Oxides in Purples and blues to blend into a sky scene. I flicked some water on the background and let it sit so it would react.  I then used Distress Stain Spray, opened the cap and flicked white dots all over the background to give illusion of stars.

Thanks for reading! I hope my card inspires you to join us in the Challenge. Now go out and make something beautiful!
